Job Title: AI Engineer (Forward Deployed Engineer) Company: Palete Design House Location: Remote (Headquarters: UAE) Job Type: Full-time (minimum 35 hours per week) Compensation: Competitive; negotiable based on experience; paid in Crypto Role overview Palete works with international clients on product, UX, and the systems behind them. This role is customer-embedded engineering with AI in production: you join client calls, scope real workflows, build and ship LLM-backed features (RAG, agents, integrations), then document and hand off so the client’s team can run it without you. You are not hired to write decks or one-off demos. You are hired to deliver working software, with evals, guardrails, and clear boundaries where mistakes are costly. Proof of work is required. Applications without it are not reviewed. Key responsibilities Discovery & scoping: Work with clients (video) to turn vague asks into a bounded build: assumptions, risks, milestones, and what is explicitly out of scope. Build & integrate: Ship in TypeScript and/or Python — APIs, webhooks, small UIs, RAG and tool-calling flows wired to the client’s stack (CRM, ticketing, internal tools, etc.). Quality in production: Add evals, smoke tests, or golden cases before go-live; use human-in-the-loop where the workflow needs it. Operate & hand off: Runbook, env notes, short enablement for operators; tune after launch when needed. Reuse: Capture patterns (prompts, integration templates, checklists) so the next engagement starts faster. How to apply Send all of the following:

- Experience: 3+ years in software or product engineering, software engineering, Full stack, solutions engineering, or a prior forward-deployed / customer-facing technical role.
- Stack: TypeScript or Python/Go; SQL, REST, Git, Flutter, React, Docker and CI basics.
- AI:1 year shipping or operating LLM features in real products — not notebooks only. You can explain how you test that a change did not make things worse.
- Communication: Clear written updates in English; comfortable on calls with engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
