📍 Dubai, UAE · Hybrid · Internship ([3 to 6] months) · Sharq About Sharq Sharq builds sovereign, specialist AI for enterprises and governments across the GCC and MENA. We post-train and serve models tailored to the region’s languages, regulations, and infrastructure, so banks, telecoms, insurers, and public-sector organisations can deploy AI they actually control, on their own terms and inside their own borders. We’re an early-stage team, which means as an intern you’ll do real work on real systems, not side projects. Help build and test pipelines for data processing, fine-tuning, and evaluation of LLMs, with a focus on Arabic and regional use cases Contribute to internal tools, APIs, and demos used with enterprise clients Research and benchmark open-source models and frameworks, and share what you find with the team Write clean, documented code and learn production engineering practices from the founding team Join customer and product discussions to see how AI gets deployed in regulated industries Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field Strong Python skills and a solid grasp of programming fundamentals Familiarity with machine learning or LLMs through coursework, projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions Curiosity, initiative, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-moving environment Clear communication and a willingness to ask questions Experience with PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, or similar tools Exposure to cloud platforms or Docker Arabic language skills A GitHub profile or portfolio showing things you’ve built [Paid] internship with hands-on mentorship from the founders Hybrid setup: [3] days a week in our Dubai office Real responsibility and visible impact at an early-stage AI company A strong reference and the potential for a full-time offer for outstanding interns [Flexible hours around university schedules, other perks] How to apply Apply via LinkedIn, or send your CV and a link to a project you’re proud of to [aman@sarq.ai].
