Accelerec is specialized in recruitment, we seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position where you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets and ensuring the integrity of our information systems. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs. Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate security weaknesses across various platforms. Develop and execute incident response plans, investigate security breaches, and perform digital forensics to determine root causes and prevent recurrence. Monitor security alerts and logs using SIEM tools, analyze threat intelligence, and implement proactive measures to mitigate emerging threats. Ensure robust cloud security practices and endpoint security solutions are in place, protecting sensitive data and systems. Manage and configure security technologies, troubleshoot security issues, and provide technical guidance to other IT teams. Develop and implement risk management strategies and contribute to security policy development and enforcement. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field. A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity roles. Demonstrated expertise in Network Security, Incident Response, Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, Threat Intelligence, SIEM, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection, and Cryptography. Proficiency in Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, and Digital Forensics. Strong understanding of Risk Management principles. Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation. Excellent Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving skills. Strong Communication and Attention to Detail. Fluency in English (written and spoken). Preferred Qualifications Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+. Experience with advanced security tools and technologies.
