Data Engineer (DATBRICKS, BANKING) Dubai, UAE Onsite Permanent Position We are looking for Data Engineers for our client who are partnered with some of the largest AI, data and cloud transformation projects in the UAE, across industries. As a Databricks Engineer , you will play a key role in designing and building scalable data platforms, modern data pipelines, and intelligent solutions on the latest cloud and Databricks technologies. What we are looking for: Banking experience client facing roles Databricks & Spark Development Design, develop, and optimize data engineering solutions on Databricks Build high-performance Apache Spark jobs using PySpark and Spark SQL Data Pipelines Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Spark, and Databricks Process large-scale structured and semi-structured datasets Ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability of pipelines Analytics & Enablement Create analytics-ready datasets using strong SQL modeling Support BI and reporting platforms by delivering accurate and timely data Collaborate with analytics teams to understand business requirements AI & Advanced Workloads Prepare and curate data for AI/ML workloads on Databricks Support feature engineering, model training, and batch/real-time scoring pipelines Work closely with Data Scientists to operationalize AI solutions Enable end-to-end data workflows for AI-driven use cases Collaboration & Governance Partner with Data Science, Analytics, and Platform teams Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards Document pipelines, data models, and operational processes **Due to the high volume of applicants, on candidates with the relevant skillset against the above, will be contacted**
