Position Summary: We are seeking highly motivated Digital Transformation Engineers, Senior Engineers, and Lead Engineers to join a prestigious Oil & Gas project in the UAE. The role will be part of the project execution team and will support the design, integration, deployment, and delivery of advanced digitalization solutions throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between Operations, Engineering, Automation, IT/OT, and Technology Vendors to deliver digital transformation initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reliability, safety, sustainability, and decision-making through modern digital technologies. The role covers multiple digital domains including Digital Twin, Data Platforms, Industrial AI, Advanced Analytics, System Integration, Asset Performance Management, Digital Operations, Industrial Mobility, Situational Awareness, and Emerging Technologies. Key Responsibilities Support development and execution of project digitalization roadmaps. Identify digital transformation opportunities across engineering, construction, operations, maintenance, HSE, and sustainability domains. Participate in client workshops and requirement gathering activities. Translate project requirements and SOWs into digital solutions and use cases. Support integration of OT, IT, engineering, and enterprise systems. Develop interface specifications, data models, and integration architectures. Support data acquisition, governance, contextualization, and quality initiatives. Support implementation of Digital Twin and digital platform solutions. Integrate engineering, operational, maintenance, and inspection data sources. Support engineering data digitalization and asset information management initiatives. Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting solutions. Support analytics, AI, machine learning, and operational intelligence initiatives. Contribute to predictive maintenance, reliability, and asset performance improvement programs. Support deployment of Asset Performance Management (APM) solutions. Support digital operations centers and situational awareness platforms. Enable real-time monitoring, visualization, and decision-support capabilities. Evaluate and support implementation of emerging digital technologies. Digital technology domains include: Industrial AI & Advanced Analytics Digital Twin Data Platforms & Integration Industrial Mobility Smart Wearables Industrial Drones Robotics Computer Vision AR/VR Solutions Digital Workflows & Smart Operations Autonomous Operations Sustainability & Emissions Management Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management Coordinate with clients, vendors, system integrators, and project teams. Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and site acceptance activities. Prepare technical documents, reports, presentations, and project deliverables. Support project planning, scheduling, progress reporting, and risk management activities. Ensure compliance with project standards, cybersecurity requirements, and governance processes. Engineer Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related discipline. 3-7 years of relevant experience. Exposure to industrial digitalization initiatives. Senior Engineer Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline. 8-12 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated experience delivering complex digitalization projects. Lead Engineer Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline. 12+ years of relevant experience. Proven experience leading multidisciplinary digital transformation programs and teams. Preferred Technical Skills Digital Twin, APM, Predictive Maintenance, Reliability, and Operational Excellence solutions. System Integration, APIs, ETL, OPC UA, MQTT, and industrial connectivity technologies. Industrial Historians, RTIMS, DCS, SCADA, MES, CMMS, and enterprise systems. Power BI, SQL, Python, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and AI/ML technologies. OT/IT convergence, cybersecurity awareness, and industrial architecture concepts. Engineering information management, BIM, CAD, and Digital Twin ecosystems. Cloud and modern data platform technologies such as Azure and AWS. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent stakeholder management skills. Effective communication and presentation abilities. Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments. Strong project execution mindset. Customer-focused approach. Willingness to travel to project and site locations as required.
