Faradars is looking for a Front-end Developer with at least 3 years of professional experience to join our engineering team. You'll work on Faradars' core product, a large-scale educational platform where video, performance, reliability, and user experience are important. You'll work on new features as well as improving architecture, refactoring legacy code, reducing technical debt, and improving the overall user experience. What You'll Work On Develop and maintain product features using React and Next.js Build reusable components and contribute to our Design System Improve video experiences including players, playlists, subtitles, and playback controls Improve page performance and Core Web Vitals, especially on video-heavy pages Refactor legacy code and modernize outdated patterns Participate in Code Reviews and technical discussions Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools in daily development Video & Design System Video is a core part of Faradars, so familiarity with web video is valuable: You don't need to be a video streaming infrastructure expert. We value strong Front-end knowledge and problem-solving skills around video experiences. We also expect experience with Design Systems or shared component libraries, building reusable components, maintaining UI consistency, and accurately implementing designs with Tailwind CSS. - 3+ years of professional Front-end development experience
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Professional experience with React and Next.js, including familiarity with App Router and Pages Router
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, responsive design, Flexbox, Grid, and CSS fundamentals
- Experience with Zustand and React Context
- Experience with SWR and React Query
- Experience with Git, Pull Requests, and Code Reviews
- Good understanding of web performance, lazy loading, and code splitting
- Ability to work effectively within an existing codebase and improve its structure over time
- Experience with Video.js, Plyr, or similar players
- Basic understanding of video streaming and browser-based playback
- Experience building video-related interfaces such as players, playlists, subtitles, and controls
- Experience optimizing media-heavy pages
- Testing with Vitest, Jest, or Playwright
- Technical SEO and familiarity with metadata, structured data, sitemaps, and rendering strategies
- Accessibility knowledge, including WCAG, semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, and screen readers
- Familiarity with PWA, Webpack, or Vite
- Experience working on high-traffic or performance-sensitive products

- Problem Solving: Investigating complex problems and legacy code to find root causes
