individee builds Ondeva, a low-code platform that lets our clients build and run production web applications without writing code. Alongside Ondeva, we build and maintain web applications for our clients across a range of industries. We're a small, international team in Berlin. Everyone here works directly, owns what they're building, and speaks up when something isn't right. We're hiring a Full Stack Developer to take ownership of feature development across our backend and frontend systems. You'll work within our Scrum process on clearly scoped tickets — the work is structured and well-defined. What we need from you beyond clean execution is the judgment to notice when something is off and the initiative to say so and help fix it. This is a permanent position and we're hiring urgently. What You'll Work On The bulk of your work will be feature development for our largest client — a high-traffic, publicly facing platform with a large and active user base. You'll work across the full stack — REST APIs in Java Spring Boot on the backend, feature development in Angular on the frontend, with MongoDB for persistence and ClickHouse feeding the analytics layer. Day to day that means building REST endpoints with proper validation and error handling, integrating external services and APIs, building Angular components and views that match functional and visual requirements, writing to and querying MongoDB, and occasionally working with our ClickHouse analytics setup. You'll also write documentation — not as an afterthought, but as part of closing a ticket. Beyond execution, we expect you to raise things when something looks wrong — in the code, in the ticket, or in the approach. Noticing and saying something is part of the job. What We Expect From You 2–4 years of professional experience in full stack development Solid, production-tested experience with Java Spring Boot and REST API development Comfortable building and maintaining Angular frontends Experience with MongoDB or a comparable document database Independent from day one — you can pick up a well-scoped ticket, execute it cleanly, and manage your own progress without someone checking in constantly A grounded relationship with AI — you use it where it makes you faster and better, you question it where it doesn't, and you don't mistake its confidence for correctness Direct communicator — we give and expect honest, straightforward feedback Fluent English, spoken and written ClickHouse or columnar database experience Apache Wicket — we have a legacy codebase on Wicket, prior exposure is a plus but not required German (B1+) — we work with German-speaking clients, a genuine bonus Salary: €50,000–€60,000, based on experience A small team where your work is visible and matters — no disappearing into a large org Direct access to senior engineering and real influence over technical decisions A structured codebase with real documentation and a mature Scrum process — you won't be walking into chaos Hybrid work, flexible schedule Yearly performance bonus, regular team events
