FULL STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER (AI & MOBILE) Contract : 3 Months extendable JOB PURPOSE Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing mobile and web applications that enable data-driven decision-making across Al-Futtaim Automotive. The role owns end-to-end software development, from React Native iPad applications and React-based web interfaces to Python backend services, cloud data integrations, and AI-powered capabilities, including conversational interfaces and LLM-based applications. 3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Develop, enhance, and maintain production-grade iPad applications using React Native, ensuring responsive, intuitive, and high-performing user experiences. Design and implement React-based web applications, dashboards, and data-driven interfaces. Develop, integrate, and maintain secure RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI. Design and optimize database schemas, queries, stored procedures, and data access logic across relational, NoSQL, and analytics platforms. Integrate applications with enterprise data platforms, including Databricks, to enable reliable access to business data and insights. Develop AI-powered application features, including LLM-based chatbots and conversational interfaces using LangChain and LangGraph. Implement AI agent orchestration, tool calling, conversation memory, and multi-step workflows. Monitor and evaluate LLM application quality, reliability, and performance using observability tools such as LangSmith. Implement caching mechanisms and performance optimization techniques to improve application responsiveness and scalability. Manage React Native application builds, testing, release management, and deployment processes for iPad/iOS. Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application quality and reliability. Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot applications and services within Microsoft Azure. Apply secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, and API security standards. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, Git-based workflows, and technical documentation. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, Data Product Owners, data engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance bottlenecks, and integration issues across the full technology stack. 4. JOB CONTEXT Works within the Data & AI Office, collaborating closely with Data Platform, Data Engineering, UX/UI, IT, and business units to develop and maintain enterprise applications, including the Executive Command Center. The role supports the delivery of integrated mobile and web experiences, connecting user-facing applications with backend services, enterprise data platforms, and AI capabilities. Acts as an end-to-end technical contributor, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, performant, and aligned with enterprise architecture, business requirements, and the organization's digital transformation objectives. 5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). 4–6+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in full stack application development. Strong expertise in React Native, including developing and deploying production mobile applications, preferably for iPad/iOS. Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React for developing responsive web applications and data-driven interfaces. Strong Python development experience, particularly with FastAPI or comparable backend frameworks. Experience designing, developing, consuming, and securing RESTful APIs, including authentication and authorization. Strong knowledge of relational databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL, with experience in schema design, complex queries, and stored procedures. Experience with NoSQL databases such as Azure Cosmos DB and MongoDB. Practical experience integrating applications with Databricks and enterprise data platforms. Experience implementing Redis caching and other application performance optimization strategies. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure for application hosting, deployment, and cloud service integration. Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including repositories, boards, automated pipelines, and Git-based development workflows; familiarity with GitHub. Experience developing automated tests and implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment practices. Knowledge of React Native application build and release processes, including TestFlight and App Store Connect. Experience developing LLM-powered applications using LangChain, LangGraph, or comparable frameworks. Understanding of AI agent orchestration, tool calling, conversation memory, prompt design, and integration of LLM APIs into production applications. Familiarity with LLM monitoring, tracing, and evaluation tools such as LangSmith. Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Advantageous: Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, vector search, Docker, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and offline-capable mobile applications. 6.
