Job Purpose The Logistic System Engineer’s main responsibility is to implement appropriate logistic system solutions for in-plant logistics high-efficiency operation, secure the intelligent Logistics system installation, commissioning, and integration in Press, Body, Paint and GA shop. Also need to lead the requirement investigation and solution proposal, solutions alignment, evaluation, and manage the implementation, and running improvement. Key Accountabilities 1. Specifications and standards Provide Logistics systems (mainly SAP EWM) expertise for leading the implementation of system solutions from business side and ensure the solution match with material handling process and system requirements. Work with IT application team to implement proper system functionalities to support the logistics operation. Take the ownership to continuously focus on solution implementation, understand potential failure mode and take appropriate countermeasure to mitigate risk of line-stop. 2. Project Management Responsible for the SAP/EWM solutionimplementation for Press, Body, Paint and GA shop: Optimal EWM solution based on requirement investigation and implementation plan and delivery milestones. Manage and drive EWM implementation including process confirmation, system requirement analysis, solution design alignment and review, development follow-up, system go-live and improvement. System implementation project status update and report to management team. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to confirm the system requirements, work with IT and Logistic vendors to finalize solution design. Implement appropriate Logistics systems with vendor for various material flow and line feeding processes for 4JPH line and 38 JPH line. Work with IT team and vendors to ensure system integration with MES, SAP/EWM, PTL, AMR, ASRS, CTU, Call button, Visualization, etc. Responsible for project deliverables and presentation of results and recommendations to stakeholders. Participate in E2E process UAT and responsible for UAT testing and issue solving. Logistic system buy-off and handover to Logistics operation team. 3. Vendor Selection/Management Contract variation order management, Maintenance contract sign-off 4. Reporting Reports to the Logistics System & Automation Manager Excellent verbal and written communication skills 5. Policy, Procedures & Process All documents generated are confidential All policies will follow ISO standards Process will be followed with the appropriate follow up and documentation of signatures Complete knowledge of relevant legislation Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, major in IT or related, or practical experience in a large automotive company Skills & Competencies: Project governance and management, report and presentation skills.
