Our client, a leading FinTech is seeking a Lead Mobile Developer to own the direction, architecture, and delivery of its mobile SDKs and apps across iOS and Android. This is a hybrid role with an Abu Dhabi office base. If you’re a senior mobile engineer who wants to work on mission‑critical authentication technology used by major banks and financial institutions, this one is worth your attention. This is a hands‑on technical leadership role where correctness, performance, and security genuinely matter. Your code sits directly in the fraud‑prevention path for live financial transactions. The Role Lead architecture, design, and delivery of a high‑performance mobile SDK used inside tier‑one banking apps Set engineering standards, guide tooling decisions (native vs cross‑platform), and raise the bar for mobile quality Mentor and manage a small team of mobile engineers Own the full lifecycle: design → build → test → release → monitoring Integrate with backend identity and fraud‑detection APIs (REST/JSON, OAuth, SAML) Work closely with product/design to create secure, low‑friction user journeys Champion CI/CD, automation, and mobile security best practices Stay ahead of iOS/Android OS changes, mobile security trends, and identity‑tech developments Telco Exposure (Required) You’ll work closely with telco‑related integrations, including: SIM‑card setup and device‑level identity signals Telco APIs and network‑based authentication data Understanding how mobile network behaviour impacts fraud detection and device trust What You Bring Proven experience leading mobile engineering teams Strong hands‑on skills in iOS (Swift/Obj‑C) and solid capability in Android (Kotlin/Java) Ideally iOS‑leaning, but comfortable owning both platforms Deep understanding of mobile architecture, secure coding, and performance optimisation Experience shipping and maintaining production apps/SDKs at scalE Familiarity with cross‑platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Cordova) Strong API integration experience Excellent communication skills across engineering, product, and design Bonus: fintech, identity, cybersecurity, telco, OAuth/SAML
