Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Odoo Developer role based in Dubai. The Odoo Developer will configure, customize, and maintain Odoo modules to support core business processes such as sales, inventory, purchasing, and finance. Responsibilities include developing and testing new features, integrating Odoo with other systems, and resolving technical issues to ensure stable and efficient operations. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions, and preparing documentation for configurations and customizations. The Odoo Developer will also support end users, optimize system performance, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, MUST HAVE experience in Odoo platform. Hands-on Programming experience using languages commonly applied in Odoo development (such as Python and XML). Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in enterprise systems. Experience configuring and customizing Odoo modules, including workflows, reports, and security settings. Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Previous experience working with retail, furniture, or hospitality sectors is an advantage.
