We support one another, make impactful contributions to the organization, and develop and nurture meaningful connections across the payment’s ecosystem! |About the role Platform Operations Engineer – OpenShift & Middleware focuses on instant payment platform (IPP) and International Remittance Platform (IRP) oversees the overall platform performance and ensures delivery of product, services and systems as per defined KPIs / SLAs of IPP & IRP System. | Container & Private Cloud Infrastructure Red Hat OpenShift Administration: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain multi-cluster Red Hat OpenShift Container Platforms (OCP) across enterprise infrastructure. Cluster Lifecycle Management: Conduct routine cluster maintenance, performance tuning, and capacity planning to ensure optimal resource allocation. Private Cloud Management: Oversee and integrate OpenShift environments with underlying private cloud hypervisors and storage architectures. Middleware, Messaging & Integration API Management: Configure, publish, and secure APIs using the Red Hat 3scale API Management gateway. Messaging & Events: Manage, scale, and troubleshoot enterprise messaging queues using Red Hat AMQ (ActiveMQ). File Transfer Services: Support and administer enterprise SFTP infrastructure for secure bulk data exchanges CI/CD, Automation & Configuration Pipeline Operations: Maintain and optimize automated CI/CD platforms to enable seamless application deployment and release lifecycles. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop, maintain, and execute Red Hat Ansible playbooks and automation routines to eliminate configuration drift. Collaboration Tooling: Manage operational project workflows, access privileges, and issue tracking boards within Jira. Identity, Access & Security Management Identity & Access Management (IAM): Configure, secure, and troubleshoot enterprise single sign-on services using Red Hat SSO and Keycloak. Directory Services: Integrate middleware and container platforms with Active Directory (AD) for centralized authentication and role-based access control (RBAC). Secret Management: Securely store, rotate, and manage infrastructure credentials, API keys, and certificates using HashiCorp Vault Monitoring, Observability & Core Services Telemetry management: Implement and maintain cluster-level logging, metrics, and alerting frameworks using Prometheus and Grafana. Enterprise Observability: Centralize, parse, and analyze application and system log data across both ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, FluentD, Kibana), Splunk, AppDynamics ecosystems. Core Network Protocols: Manage and configure system mail routing architectures via SMTP to ensure reliable platform alerting and notifications. |Qualifications & Years of Experience Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in electrical/computer engineering, computer science 7+ years of work experience in technology related field 2+ years’ experience in product development and/or vendor management Previous experience in payment services is a plus Prior experience in technology delivery role is required. It is important that the candidate is familiar with technology architecture and knows how to manage tech suppliers |Required Skills Good understanding of Containerization & Infrastructure.
