Presales Consultant-Automation and Integration GBM -Oman Job Summary: This role demands technical acumen and strategic sales expertise to solve enterprise connectivity challenges. You will bridge the gap between advanced IBM solutions and client business needs in the Omani market. Your command of the IBM portfolio will enable you to architect integration strategies, act with integrity as a trusted advisor, and drive cooperative success. Job Partner with sales to propose effective architectures and build custom solutions that seamlessly connect enterprise systems. Command technical workshops to prove the value of IBM App Connect Enterprise, IBM API Connect, and IBM MQ. Architect tailored integration frameworks leveraging IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration and IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation. Provide expert guidance on intelligent automation and event streaming utilizing IBM DataPower Gateway, IBM Event Automation, IBM Concert, and watsonx.orchestrate. Position IBM solutions effectively against competitor platforms like MuleSoft and Boomi, while understanding complementary technologies like Apache Kafka and Confluent. Qualifications & Education Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (Masters is a plus) 7 to 10 years of proven technical presales or consulting experience, specifically within the Omani market. Solid technical expertise in the core IBM Integration and Automation portfolio. Exceptional communication and presentation skills to translate complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences. Reports on progress/issues to HSE focal point Provide administrative support to the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department. Maintain and organize HSE documentation, including records of incidents, audits, and training sessions.
