We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer specializing in Model Context Protocol (MCP) to design and build AI-powered integrations for our logistics and warehouse management platforms. You will develop MCP servers that connect AI models with internal services, databases, APIs, and business workflows, enabling secure access to business data and intelligent automation. The ideal candidate combines strong backend engineering skills with hands-on experience building MCP servers, integrating LLMs, and developing reliable AI-powered systems. This is a remote, full-time role (174 hours/month), working closely with our teams in Canada, Iran, India, and the Philippines. Key Responsibilities Role Details We need an engineer who can build production-ready MCP servers, connect AI models to real business systems, and turn AI capabilities into secure, practical workflows. The ideal candidate has strong backend fundamentals, hands-on MCP development experience, and the ability to take AI integrations from design to deployment.

- Design, develop, and maintain MCP servers that expose backend services, APIs, data, and business operations to AI applications.
- Build secure, scalable backend services primarily using Golang, with Node.js for integrations or legacy systems where required.
- Integrate MCP servers with internal platforms, databases, third-party APIs, and AI models.
- Implement MCP tools, resources, and prompts to support AI-driven workflows and business automation.
- Develop AI integrations, tool-calling workflows, and context-aware systems using LLM APIs.
- Design and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and reliable data integrations.
- Implement authentication, authorization, input validation, and security controls for MCP servers and integrations.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver and maintain production-ready solutions.
- Use AI development tools to improve engineering productivity, testing, debugging, and documentation.
نیازمندیها
- 5+ years of backend development experience, preferably building production systems.
- Strong expertise in Golang and experience with Node.js.
- Hands-on experience developing MCP servers and integrations using the Model Context Protocol.
- Strong understanding of MCP architecture, including tools, resources, prompts, and client-server communication.
- Experience integrating LLMs with APIs, databases, and business workflows.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, authentication, authorization, and secure system integration.
- Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL or similar production databases.
- Understanding of microservices, system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and production deployments.
- Experience using AI development tools and applying them to real-world engineering tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with distributed teams.
- Advanced or fluent English proficiency.
- Experience with OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, LangChain, or other LLM frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI agents, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and vector databases.
- Experience with WebSockets, GraphQL, gRPC, or event-driven architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Familiarity with Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience integrating AI systems with logistics, warehouse management, fulfillment, or delivery platforms.
