We are looking for a Senior SQL Server DBA / Database Engineer to join our Data Platform team and take ownership of the administration, performance, reliability, and scalability of our critical SQL Server environments.
مسئولیتها
- Administer and maintain SQL Server environments across development, staging, and production.
- Monitor and optimize SQL Server performance, availability, and resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues involving CPU, memory, I/O, locking/blocking, TempDB, transaction logs, and query performance.
- Perform advanced Performance Tuning & Optimization using Query Store, execution plans, DMVs, wait statistics, and native monitoring tools.
- Design and maintain backup, restore, HA, and DR solutions.
- Optimize queries, indexes, stored procedures, database schemas, and partitioning strategies.
- Work closely with Data Engineers and Developers on database design and query optimization.
- Support and troubleshoot SSIS/ETL workloads.
- Automate DBA processes and improve monitoring, alerting, and operational reliability.
- Participate in production deployments, maintenance, migrations, and incident response.
- Document technical solutions and mentor team members.
نیازمندیها
- 5+ years of hands-on SQL Server DBA experience in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server Administration and Performance Tuning & Optimization.
- Solid experience with Query Store, execution plans, DMVs, wait statistics, indexing, TempDB, and transaction logs.
- Strong understanding of backup/restore, recovery models, HA and DR.
- Experience with SSIS and ETL workflows.
- Good understanding of database modeling, indexing, partitioning, and schema design.
- Experience with Windows Server administration; Active Directory is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with Data Engineering, BI Developers.
