10+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years in DevOps/Cloud Architecture and strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Job Summary We are looking for an experienced DevOps Architect to design, implement, and govern highly scalable, secure, automated, and resilient cloud infrastructure across OCI and AWS. The role will be responsible for defining DevOps architecture, cloud adoption strategies, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, observability, security, and automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in both OCI and AWS, along with the ability to provide technical leadership and collaborate with application, security, infrastructure, and development teams. Key Responsibilities Cloud Architecture – OCI & AWS Design and implement scalable, highly available and secure cloud architectures across OCI and AWS. Define cloud infrastructure standards, reference architectures, landing zones and deployment patterns. Architect solutions involving compute, networking, storage, databases, IAM, load balancing and monitoring. Develop cloud migration and modernization strategies. Evaluate OCI and AWS services and recommend appropriate solutions based on business and technical requirements. Implement multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures where required. DevOps & CI/CD Design and implement enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments. Automate build, test, release and deployment processes. Implement DevSecOps practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle. Establish branching, version-control, release and deployment strategies. Integrate automated security, code quality and vulnerability checks into CI/CD pipelines. Infrastructure as Code & Automation Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or other automation frameworks. Automate provisioning and configuration of OCI and AWS resources. Implement reusable modules, templates and deployment standards. Use scripting and automation tools such as Python, Shell/Bash or PowerShell. Containers & Kubernetes Architect and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with OCI Kubernetes Engine (OKE) and Amazon EKS. Design container orchestration, scaling, networking, security and deployment strategies. Implement Helm-based deployments and Kubernetes configuration management. OCI Expertise Strong knowledge of OCI services including: Compute Virtual Cloud Network (VCN) Load Balancer Object Storage Block/Boot Volumes IAM Autonomous Database / Oracle Database OKE OCI Registry OCI DevOps Logging and Monitoring Vault and Key Management Cloud Guard Experience designing secure OCI networking and enterprise cloud environments. AWS Expertise Strong knowledge of AWS services including: EC2 VPC IAM S3 RDS EKS ECS Lambda CloudFormation CloudWatch ELB/ALB Route 53 Secrets Manager / KMS AWS CodePipeline / CodeBuild / CodeDeploy Experience designing highly available and fault-tolerant AWS architectures. Security & Governance Implement cloud security, IAM, secrets management and least-privilege access. Establish security and compliance controls across OCI and AWS. Work closely with cybersecurity teams to implement DevSecOps practices. Implement vulnerability management, security scanning and policy enforcement. Ensure cloud environments comply with organizational and regulatory standards. Monitoring & Reliability Design centralized monitoring, logging, alerting and observability solutions. Implement performance monitoring and infrastructure/application health checks. Establish SRE, availability, disaster recovery and business continuity practices. Define SLIs, SLOs and operational KPIs where applicable. Leadership & Architecture Lead technical discussions and provide architectural guidance to DevOps and cloud engineering teams. Review existing infrastructure and identify opportunities for automation and optimization. Prepare architecture diagrams, technical documentation and implementation standards. Mentor engineers and promote DevOps best practices. Collaborate with development, QA, security, infrastructure and business teams.
