Overview Job Title Senior Engineer Job Code 650287 Grade I2 Group Corporate Planning & Enablement Division Corporate Technology Department Corporate IT Operations Unit SAP Services ROLE PURPOSE The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organization’s perspective. The role exists to support the research, development, and implementation of speech-based artificial intelligence solutions and technologies. The role contributes to building, evaluating, and optimizing speech processing models and applications, supporting research initiatives, and enabling the development of innovative AI capabilities aligned with Elm's strategic objectives and emerging technology priorities. Key Accountabilities & Activities This section describes the principal outputs required from the job. Key Accountabilities Key Activities SAP Environment Support Administer and support SAP environments and related services. Monitor SAP system availability, stability, and performance. Support day-to-day operation of relevant SAP solutions and modules. Incident & Problem Resolution Analyze and resolve SAP incidents, technical issues, and service requests. Investigate recurring issues and support root-cause analysis. Coordinate complex issues with relevant technical teams and vendors when required. SAP Changes & Enhancements Assess and implement approved SAP change requests and system enhancements. Support configuration and technical changes based on business requirements. Validate implemented changes to ensure expected functionality. Upgrades, Patches & Migration Coordinate SAP upgrades, patches, and migration activities. Perform required technical validation and testing associated with system changes. Support transition activities while minimizing disruption to business operations. SAP Integration & Interfaces Develop and support interfaces and integrations between SAP and other enterprise systems. Monitor integration performance and resolve interface-related issues. Maintain relevant technical documentation for integrations and interfaces. Business & Functional Support Collaborate with functional teams to understand business processes and requirements. Support alignment of SAP capabilities with business requirements. Provide technical input for SAP-related improvements and solutions. Reporting & Data Integrity Support development and maintenance of SAP reports and related data requirements. Monitor data integrity and investigate identified inconsistencies. Support accurate and reliable information across SAP services. SAP Controls & Documentation Maintain system documentation, configurations, user roles, and authorization-related records within assigned responsibilities. Support management of SAP licenses and related controls. Ensure technical activities are appropriately documented and traceable. Documentation & Technical Reporting Prepare and maintain technical documentation, experiment results, and research findings. Document model architectures, assumptions, methodologies, and implementation details. Support preparation of technical presentations and reports. Policies, Processes & Procedures Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. Information Security Comply with all relevant information security practices and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Academic And Professional Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field. SAP professional certifications or relevant ERP certifications are considered an advantage. Years And Nature Of Experience 2–4 years of relevant experience in SAP systems, ERP support, system integration, application support, or related technology areas.
