Title: Senior Mendix Developer (with Technical Team Lead skills) Location: On-site – Dubai, UAE Type: Full-time Experience Level: Senior (6+ years) Key Requirement: Hands-on Mendix expertise combined with proven technical team lead skills We're looking for a Senior Mendix Developer with strong technical team lead skills to design and deliver enterprise-grade applications on the Mendix low-code platform. This is a hands-on role for someone who can build complex solutions themselves while leading, mentoring and guiding a team of developers. You'll own application architecture and delivery quality, set technical standards for the team, and be the go-to technical authority on Mendix for our developers, product owners and business stakeholders. Design, build and deploy scalable enterprise web and mobile applications on Mendix Own application architecture, including domain models, microflows, security and performance optimization Integrate Mendix applications with ERP, CRM and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP and OData APIs Translate business requirements into technical solutions in partnership with stakeholders and product owners Provide technical leadership to the development team, including task allocation, technical guidance and unblocking issues Mentor and coach junior and mid-level Mendix developers Conduct code and model reviews, and enforce Mendix best practices and coding standards Estimate effort and plan technical work within Agile/Scrum sprints Manage the application lifecycle, including version control, CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments What You Bring 6+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years of hands-on Mendix development Strong command of domain modeling, microflows, nanoflows, page design and Mendix security Solid experience with REST, SOAP and OData integrations Strong background in Java, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS/SCSS for custom widgets and Java actions Good knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server Experience with Git, Jira and Agile/Scrum delivery Proven technical team lead skills, including: Leading and mentoring developers Running code reviews and setting technical standards Task breakdown, estimation and sprint planning Making technical decisions and owning delivery quality Communicating clearly with stakeholders and management Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences Mendix Advanced Developer Certification strongly preferred (Expert Developer Certification is a strong plus) Ability to work on-site full-time in Dubai Experience with Mendix Native Mobile, Workflows, Data Hub or Pluggable Widgets Experience deploying Mendix applications on Mendix Cloud, AWS, Azure, Docker or Kubernetes Domain experience in government, banking, logistics or manufacturing in the GCC region To apply, candidates who meet the above requirements are requested to share: Updated CV Notice period Monthly salary expectations
