Role Purpose Own and continuously improve the quality assurance approach across the software delivery lifecycle. Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into effective test coverage, identify risks early, and ensure that releases are reliable, secure, and fit for use. Establish quality practices that reduce defects, support informed release decisions, and improve the customer experience. Key Responsibilities Define test strategies and plans based on product requirements, user workflows, and delivery risks. Review requirements and user stories to identify gaps, ambiguities, and potential issues early. Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance tests. Automate suitable tests and maintain the relevant test frameworks and tools. Record, prioritize, and track defects through resolution and verification. Investigate recurring defects and recommend preventive improvements. Support release planning and provide clear assessments of product readiness and quality risks. Mentor QA team members and promote consistent testing practices. Report test progress, results, risks, and blockers to relevant stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong experience in software quality assurance and testing. Experience with test and defect management tools such as Jira or equivalent. Practical experience with test automation tools and frameworks. Understanding of APIs, databases, and system integrations. Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
