Senior Software Engineer Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Job Type: Full-time Seniority Level: Senior Experience: 3–5 years Salary: SAR 12,000 – 18,000 / month Job Objective We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team to design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions. In this role, you will develop core applications, optimize performance, resolve complex technical issues, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable digital products. Key Responsibilities Design & Development: Build scalable, high-performance software applications aligned with business requirements using clean, maintainable code. Testing & Quality Assurance: Test applications, diagnose technical issues, debug software, and participate in peer code reviews to maintain high engineering standards. Architecture & Integration: Develop, integrate, and manage resilient RESTful APIs and backend services. Performance & Optimization: Identify system bottlenecks to continuously improve application speed, security, and stability. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, UI/UX Design, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain technical documentation for system architecture and keep pace with modern technologies and industry best practices. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 3–5 years of professional software development experience. Core Engineering Skills: Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript). Strong working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases. Experience with API design, integration, and development. Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab). Soft Skills: Strong analytical and algorithmic problem-solving abilities. Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
