Join our team as a Generalist Service Representative and become the technical expert our customers rely on. You'll deliver hands-on installation, maintenance, and repair services that keep critical systems running safely and efficiently while building lasting customer relationships. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Substation Automation & SCADA Engineer to join our team for utility and critical infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for engineering, configuration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and support of Substation Automation Systems (SAS), SCADA, RTU, PLC, and communication networks. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Schneider Electric solutions and utility communication protocols. What will you do? Design, engineer, configure, and commission Substation Automation Systems (SAS). Configure and integrate SCADA, RTU, HMI, and communication gateways. Perform IEC 61850 engineering, including IED integration, GOOSE messaging, and MMS communications. Develop and configure SCADA databases, alarm management, and control schemes. Execute FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities. Perform signal mapping, point-to-point testing, and communication testing. Integrate protection relays, meters, and intelligent electronic devices (IEDs). Prepare technical documentation including FDS, I/O lists, network architecture drawings, and test reports. Troubleshoot communication issues involving IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3, and IEC 60870-5-104. Interface with clients, consultants, utilities, and project teams during project execution. Support operational and maintenance activities for critical power infrastructure. What are the key skills we are looking for? Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or Automation Engineering. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Substation Automation, SCADA, RTU, and Power System Automation. Experience in Utility, Transmission, Distribution, Data Center, Oil & Gas, or Critical Infrastructure projects. Strong troubleshooting and commissioning skills. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Ability to travel within KSA and GCC when required. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling: Engineering ,Configuration Testing , Commissioning ,Troubleshooting ,Customer interaction with strong expertise in IEC 61850, SCADA, RTU, Schneider Electric PACiS/EcoStruxure solutions, and utility substation automation projects.
