We're Hiring | Technical Lead – Capital Markets & OMS Transformation Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Company: Projactive Position: Senior Technical Lead / Solution Architecture & Delivery Are you an experienced Capital Markets Technology professional with a strong track record in Order Management Systems (OMS), trading platforms and complex financial technology transformations? Projactive is seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead to support a major technology transformation programme within Saudi Arabia's capital markets sector. This senior techno-functional role requires a deep understanding of trading systems, brokerage operations, enterprise architecture, market connectivity, and end-to-end technology delivery. Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and architecture oversight throughout a complex OMS replacement programme. Review and challenge High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD), integration architecture and technical specifications. Assess OMS integration with trading platforms, market connectivity, clearing, settlement, custody and back-office systems. Support technical design governance covering performance, scalability, security, resilience, high availability and disaster recovery. Review data migration strategies, mapping, reconciliation and integration dependencies. Oversee technical readiness across system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), performance testing and parallel runs. Evaluate technical risks, vendor deliverables and solution readiness for deployment and go-live. Work closely with business, technology, operations, and external vendors to align business requirements with technical solutions. Support cutover planning, production readiness, post-implementation validation and hypercare. Required Experience & Expertise 10+ years of experience in financial services technology, capital markets systems or enterprise technology transformation. Strong experience with Order Management Systems (OMS), Execution Management Systems (EMS), brokerage or investment trading platforms. Proven involvement in major trading platform implementations, replacements or modernisation programmes. Deep understanding of the front-to-back trade lifecycle, including order management, execution, clearing, settlement, custody and reconciliation. Knowledge of market connectivity and integration protocols, particularly FIX, APIs and real-time trading interfaces. Experience with solution architecture, system integration, technical design assurance and multi-vendor delivery. Strong familiarity with the Saudi capital markets ecosystem, including Tadawul, Edaa, Muqassa and CMA requirements, is highly desirable. Excellent stakeholder management, technical problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Background Experience with capital markets technology providers, brokerage firms, investment banks, asset managers, stock exchanges, clearing houses or financial technology consulting organisations. Previous experience supporting mission-critical trading platform transformations in Saudi Arabia or the GCC will be a significant advantage. Interested?
