We are looking for an experienced VP of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization. You will work closely with the CTO, founders, and Product leadership to turn company priorities into strong engineering execution while maintaining high standards for scalability, reliability, and product quality. We want a strong engineering leader who can build great teams, challenge important technical decisions, understand both backend and frontend architecture, improve execution, and create an engineering organization that can scale with the business.

- Lead engineering across Backend, Frontend, Platform/Infrastructure, QA, and related technical teams.
- Build and develop strong Engineering Managers, Technical Leads, and senior engineers.
- Improve team structure, ownership, accountability, and engineering processes.
- Own engineering execution and help teams deliver predictably without unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Partner with the CTO on architecture, technical strategy, and major technology decisions.
- Ensure strong engineering standards around reliability, quality, testing, observability, and incident management.
- Manage technical debt and balance short-term product delivery with long-term technical health.
- Own or contribute to engineering hiring, performance management, headcount planning, and resource allocation.
- Work closely with Product and company leadership to align engineering priorities with business goals.
- Help scale the engineering organization while maintaining a strong engineering culture.
نیازمندیها
- Experience as a VP of Engineering, Head of Engineering, Engineering Director, or similar senior leadership role.
- Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams and Engineering Managers.
- Strong software engineering background and technical judgment.
- Strong understanding of scalable systems, distributed architectures, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and production systems.
- Strong backend engineering experience, preferably with Java-based systems and modern backend architectures.
- Hands-on or deep architectural experience with large-scale databases such as Oracle and search technologies such as Elasticsearch.
- Good understanding of modern frontend engineering and experience working with technologies such as React.js and large-scale web applications.
- Experience working across Backend, Frontend, Infrastructure/Platform, and engineering quality.
- Strong experience in hiring, performance management, organizational design, and engineering delivery.
- Ability to balance speed, quality, reliability, and business priorities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
