Build, scale and safeguard a React Native mobile application used by millions of people on Android and iOS. The Senior Front-End Developer owns the technical quality of the app – its performance, stability, security and architecture – designs and delivers features end to end, and raises the engineering standard of the squad through technical leadership, code review and mentoring. Success in this role means faster, smoother and more reliable releases, measured by real-user metrics such as crash-free sessions, app startup time and store ratings. Key Responsibilities · Feature delivery: Design, build and ship new features in the React Native (TypeScript) app end to end – from technical design and estimation through release and post-release monitoring. · Performance at scale: Measure and improve startup time, rendering and scrolling smoothness, memory, battery and network usage, and app size – on low-end Android devices and weak networks, not just flagship phones. · Stability and incident response: Track crash-free sessions, ANRs and error rates; lead root-cause analysis and fixes when production issues occur, and put safeguards in place so they do not recur. · Architecture and technical direction: Own and evolve the app architecture – modular structure, state management, navigation, data fetching and caching, offline behavior – and keep the codebase on supported React Native versions and the New Architecture. · Native integration: Build and maintain native modules and third-party SDK integrations in Kotlin/Java and Swift/Objective-C (e.g., payments, push notifications, authentication, device features). · Release engineering: Run a safe, repeatable release process – CI/CD pipelines, code signing, phased rollouts, feature flags and over-the-air updates – and publish to Google Play, the App Store and local stores such as Cafe Bazaar and Myket. · Code quality and mentoring: Set coding standards, lead code reviews, grow automated test coverage, and mentor mid-level and junior developers through pairing and knowledge-sharing. · Cross-functional collaboration: Work with product, UX/UI design, backend and QA to refine requirements and agree API contracts, and make sure the app protects user data and is accessible to all users. Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. Equivalent, demonstrable professional experience may be considered in place of a formal degree. Experience : Minimum 5 years of professional front-end or mobile development, including at least 3 years building and shipping React Native applications to production. Must have made a significant contribution to at least one production app with a large user base (hundreds of thousands of active users or more). · JavaScript and TypeScript: Expert-level knowledge, including asynchronous patterns and writing strictly typed, maintainable code. · React and React Native internals: Deep understanding of React (hooks, rendering and re-render behavior, memoization, context) and of how React Native works under the hood, including the New Architecture (Fabric, TurboModules, JSI) and the Hermes engine. · Performance profiling: Proven record of finding and fixing performance problems with tools such as React Native DevTools, Android Studio Profiler and Xcode Instruments (e.g., slow startup, JS-thread blocking, heavy lists using FlashList/FlatList). · Native platforms: Working knowledge of Android (Kotlin/Java, Gradle) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C, Xcode, CocoaPods) – enough to write native modules, upgrade native dependencies and debug native crashes. · State and data: Strong experience with state-management and data-layer libraries (e.g., Redux Toolkit, Zustand, TanStack Query), REST and/or GraphQL APIs, caching and offline-first patterns. · UI and interaction: Experience with React Navigation, Reanimated and Gesture Handler, responsive layouts across screen sizes, and right-to-left (Persian) layout and localization. · Testing: Hands-on experience with Jest and React Native Testing Library, plus an end-to-end framework such as Detox or Maestro. · CI/CD and release: Experience with mobile CI/CD (e.g., Fastlane with GitLab CI or GitHub Actions), code signing, phased rollouts and over-the-air update tooling. · Observability: Experience using crash-reporting, performance-monitoring and analytics tools (e.g., Sentry) to prioritize and verify fixes. · Mobile security: Familiarity with secure storage, token handling, certificate pinning, code obfuscation and the OWASP MASVS guidelines. · Experience with super-app or mini-app (modular) architectures, React for the web, or telecom and fintech products.
