Parametric builds AI agents for the companies that design, build and run the world's industrial projects. We believe the speed at which the world can build industrial capacity sets the pace for almost everything else, from food and medicine to energy. Today much of that speed is lost before construction even starts. Every plant begins as thousands of pages of engineering drawings and documents, and a small number of experts spend weeks reading them, listing components, pricing them and chasing suppliers. The work is slow, hard to scale and unforgiving of mistakes. We build software that understands engineering documents the way an experienced engineer does, and use it to automate the work between a design and a finished plant: scoping, cost estimation, specification checks, supplier sourcing and purchasing. Our first product, Asterisk, brings this together in one platform for industrial project teams. So far, $7M of project scope has been procured through our software, and customers have cut estimation time by 82% on average. We work with EPC contractors, equipment manufacturers, system integrators, engineering consultancies and plant owner-operators across food and beverage, pharma, chemicals and energy, on three continents. Our vision is a world where building a factory takes a fraction of the time and cost it does today, so that manufacturing capacity stops being a limit on what humanity can make.
